Reviewing a candidate's evidence

How a practitioner accepts evidence or turns it down with a reason.

What you are deciding

For each file, you decide whether it shows that the candidate can do what the learning outcome describes. Accept what does. Turn down what does not, and say why, so the candidate knows what to fix.

Review a file

  1. 1Open the candidate from your queue and go to their evidence.
  2. 2Open a learning outcome. What this covers lists what the outcome asks for.
  3. 3Preview the file.
  4. 4Accept it, or reject it with remarks. The candidate reads your remarks beside the file.

What the candidate sees

  • An accepted file shows as Accepted and the outcome counts as done.
  • A rejected file shows as Needs new evidence with your remarks. The candidate can replace it and send it again.
  • Your decision appears on the candidate's screen without them reloading the page.
